GRADE 2
Another busy and fruitful term has come to an end. Grade 2 students have had a chance to participate in some really fun and exciting learning activities. Here is what some of the students have to say about their learning experiences.
I liked doing Art because it is fun to paint and make crafts. I also liked Gymnastics because we got to jump into the foam pit and climb up the rope. – Ghayth Ajel
My favourite day of the term was ‘The Pyjama Day’ because everyone looked so cool in their pyjamas. – Zuhair Abbas
I liked learning about ‘Fractions’. A fraction is a part of the whole. It was fun to make kites and decorate them. Then we had to work out the fraction of each colour used. – Ayesha Mansuri
I loved doing gymnastics because it is fun to do kart wheels and handstands. – Hamza Sheriff
We really had fun playing Maths games with Mrs Singh. I also like playing ‘Silent Ball’ whenever we get the time. – Fatima Hameed
The most exciting thing was Gymnastics because I enjoyed going on the trampoline and doing the donkey kicks. – Hamza Al-Zaidi
I liked the activity in which we had to think and write good things about our friends. – Khadijah Khan
This term I liked doing sports with Brodie on the Thursdays. – Mohammed Al-shamarry
The most exciting thing I have done this term was sports with Brodie because the class was running around having so much fun. – Hussain Al-Fraihi
I loved the ‘Where’s Wally Dress up Day’ because everybody dressed up as a character from ‘Where’s Wally’ book. – Youssef Abdelmaksoud
I really liked doing the Science experiments in our classroom because Science is my favourite subject. – Amul Banin Juma
My favourite thing this term was learning Music. We got to play drums. I also liked doing our concert. – Ercan Uguz
For me the best thing was planting the bean seeds. We watched them growing every day and recorded our observations in our Science journal. – Aytunc Avut
I liked the concert the most, especially the ‘Dragon Dance’. I think I performed well on the concert night. I liked learning about fractions as well because I want to learn how to cut and build stuff in Minecraft. Aydin Koktas
